Mardi Gras

<DIV>Larry, Chris and I spent several days eating, drinking, walking, slogging, shoving and watching our way through Mardi Gras. Our trip was filled with fun, feathers and flesh. (No other "f" words though). Great food from all ends of the spectrum, fabulous music, parades and nice folk from all walks of life. I recommend the trip to both the hedonists and the health conscious.</DIV>

Just a sampling of the more interesting natives we encountered. These pics were mostly taken on Fat Tuesday when the lamp shade come on of off, so to speak. There are lots of things to do in town without sticking to the streets and snapping pictures of transvestites. We did some of those too. (ok, we did the cemetery thing, found a great jazz-blues club called Donna's, and ate everything from Sushi to Soul Food - I even bought a gator head and a vodoo doll for Adam - how cool is that?).
